This Week in Coles Crossing
HARRIS COUNTY HEALTH EMERGENCY
Due to the threat of the Coronavirus, our onsite office will be closed to walk-in traffic. Lori will be working and can be contacted via phone and email.
Clubs, teams, and organizations who regularly meet in the community center will not be allowed to meet until further notice. We will notify you when you may resume your meeting schedules. Under no circumstances should any member try to circumvent this and gain access to the building.
The Fitness center will be temporarily closed for thorough cleaning and disinfection. We will post additional information as it is available.
These steps are being taken as a precautionary measure and in compliance with recommendations by the City of Houston, Harris County, and our management company.
We appreciate everyone's cooperation during this time.
The following article offers some explanations of the benefits of importance of social distancing during the early stages of an outbreak of disease. The recommendations from public health professionals and local government are intended to slow the spread of the virus and prevent an overwhelming surge in our healthcare facilities.
You can find additional resources and tips on the CDC's website.
Events are Canceled
The Events Committee has canceled the Easter Eggstravaganza and the Medicare 101 Class. We are continuing to monitor the situation and will post updates on other events as warranted.
