Coles Crossing Swim Center to Open June 1!
We are happy to announce that the Coles Crossing Swim Center will open on Monday, June 1st with temporary extended hours. The pool will be open everyday except Tuesday.
Lap Swim - 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Open Swim - 9:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
The Governor's order currently restricts pool occupancy to 25%. It may become necessary to close the pool during the day if the attendance hits the permitted limit.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are some special policies for this year. Please follow all posted guidelines and lifeguard directions while at the pool.
1. Please do not enter the pool area if you or anyone in close contact with you have had symptoms of illness (fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell) in the past 72 hours. You should stay home until CDC’s posted isolation criteria are met.
2. Complete a waiver prior to your visit. Gate guard will have a copy of the waiver to complete electronically if needed.
3. The lifeguards will sign in residents and review the waivers. Be prepared with ID and pool tags/cards.
4. Masks are encouraged when you are not in the water.
5. Always maintain 6 feet of social distancing with members not in your household.
6. Restroom usage will be limited to one household at a time. Signs will be posted.
7. Guests will not be permitted.
8. No furniture will be provided. Residents may bring their own chairs for personal use.
10. Please do not loiter in the pool entry, steps, or handrails/ladders.
11. Drinking fountains have been turned off.
Read the full outline of these special policies from A-Beautiful Pools here. We appreciate everyone's support and cooperation with these new policies.
We have not scheduled an opening for the Community Center Pool. Watch for an announcement on the HOA website, Facebook and in an upcoming e-blast.
Fitness Center and Playgrounds Remain Closed Until Further Notice
We know everyone is eager to see the neighborhood amenities reopen, but at this time the Fitness Center and Playgrounds remain closed. We are closely following guidance from the CDC and local government and public health officials. We will share updates on additional openings as we have them.
HOA Board Meeting Goes Virtual!
The HOA Board held their first virtual meeting this past week. We were happy to see that a number of residents were able to tune in. They are currently exploring options for other virtual meeting portals and the board may choose to continue with online meetings for the time being. We will share more information as it becomes available.
Community Blood Drive
Due to the tremendous response to our May blood drive, we are adding a second date for donation. Register for an appointment on Tuesday, June 2 from 1:00-5:30 p.m. This blood drive is by appointment only. Please click here to register to donate. Be a Hero. Save someone's life!
Annual Meeting
Our Annual Meeting will be held on June 22, 2020 at 6 p.m. Details about the event will be released soon. The Annual Meeting is also the time for our board election. Read about the candidates on the Resident Tab of the website. We are planning a virtual Meet the Candidates event in the near future. Please submit questions for the candidates here.
Watch for details on the event on the website and Facebook page!
Have questions? Know where to look!
Get to know the official sources for information (HOA Website, Weekly Email Blasts, HOA Facebook Page, and the Crest Portal.) These resources are designed to be your first stop when you have an HOA question or would like to share your thoughts. The HOA Board is elected to represent the interests of the community, but in a neighborhood of more than 2600 homes there are lots of different opinions and we know we don't have all the answers. We would love to hear your ideas!
Are you considering a home improvement project? Please make sure to complete an Exterior Modification Request on the Crest Homeowner Portal prior to beginning construction. If you are uncertain if you need to submit an application, please use one of the official sources to ask. The Board responds promptly to emails and messages on the official Facebook page.
If you have a suggestion you think would benefit the community, please reach out. The Board meets monthly and entertains public comments at every business meeting. The more information and detail you can provide, the better. All formal presentations are given consideration. To be added to the agenda, please email the Board. We want to work with you to make the neighborhood somewhere we are all proud to call home.
